A trial or taster lesson is an excellent introduction to flying if you are just looking to try it out.

Welshpool Mid Wales Airport is set on some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. Although it seems sleepy it is quite a busy little airport with many visitors from around the country flying in, along with commercial flights and the resident Microlight and Helicopter schools.

With that in mind this gives students the added advantage of mixing with different aircraft, and gaining experience in a, sometimes, quite busy environment, without having the cumbersome restrictions of a full air traffic control airport.
